Jeff Wells
Jeff serves as our Pastor of students. He is a St. Louis native and graduated from Kirkwood High School; he earned a Bachelor’s (B.A., Missouri Baptist University), a Master’s (M.Ed., University of Missouri – St. Louis), and is currently pursuing another Master’s (M.A., The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary). He has served nearly 35 years as a student pastor, senior pastor, and associate pastor in Missouri and Indiana.
Jeff and Kristine have been married since 1991. They live in Ballwin and have two daughters (Bethany, a teacher, and Joylee, a high school student). Jeff says, “Ten years is the perfect age between children.”
In addition to serving several churches, Jeff has a heart for missions; he has been very involved in a children’s ministry in Russia, an orphanage in Guatemala, and a clean water ministry in Haiti. Since the summer of 2000, he has taken the gospel to 11 Olympic host cities. He founded a new Olympic ministry, Beyond the Rings, in 2024.
