Denise Rhoades
Denise is our Missions Director. She received her BA from Drury University in Springfield, MO, and her Master’s in Intercultural Studies from Liberty Baptist Seminary.
Denise grew up attending church and Christian schools; however, she did not have a personal relationship with the Lord. In her mid-30s, she made Jesus the Lord of her life. She’s served on many mission trips, from evangelism to orphan care and construction projects. She also lived on the mission field in Mali, West Africa, with the International Mission Board where she learned the power of spirit-filled prayer and trusting God completely.
Denise has worked with various faith-based ministries in the area as Development Director, Media coordinator, and Program Coordinator. She has a calling on her life to help God’s Kingdom grow by helping guide the church in gospel-centered missions and outreach while encouraging local churches to become sending churches. Her heart desires to see revival in the American church and since history shows that begins with pray, she is committed to praying for that to happen.
She and her husband Tom have been married since 2013. They enjoy serving the Lord together, prayer groups, Bible study, hiking, biking, anything outdoors, and spending time with friends while entertaining in their home.
